1. Information We Collect or Process

HairBoost may collect or process the following information to provide the app, improve quality, manage purchases, provide support, and protect the service.

Photos and images	Photos you take with the camera or select from your photo library. These may be used for hairstyle previews, face analysis, and business headshot generation.
Face data	Face location, cropped face area, head angle, facial outline, hairline, and visible attributes such as glasses or facial hair. We do not use this data to identify or authenticate you.
Generated results	AI-generated hairstyle images, headshot images, previews, selected filter IDs, and generation settings.
Usage and device data	App version, operating system, device type, crash logs, errors, performance data, feature events, save events, and share events.
Purchase data	Subscription status, entitlement status, and store transaction information. HairBoost does not collect payment card numbers.
Advertising and analytics data	Ad impressions, advertising identifiers or equivalent identifiers, and analytics events. Collection may depend on platform settings and consent choices.
Support information	Email address, message content, and information needed to answer requests or locate data for deletion.

2. How We Collect Information

When you take, select, upload, or process a photo in the app.
When you generate, save, share, purchase, contact support, or use app features.
When the app records crashes, errors, performance, or usage events.

3. Purposes of Use

To provide hairstyle previews, face analysis, and business headshot generation.
To generate images based on the selected filter, outfit, background, and composition.
To detect the face area and crop the image before AI processing.
To improve generation quality, identity preservation, and preservation of visible details such as glasses or facial hair.
To prevent abuse, investigate errors, analyze crashes, and provide support.
To manage purchase status, serve ads where applicable, and improve the app through analytics.

4. Sharing With Third-Party Services

When you use AI generation features, the selected photo, cropped face area, filter ID, generation settings, and limited technical metadata may be sent to HairBoost servers and to the third-party services below.

Runware	AI image generation and reference-image business headshot generation.
Google Gemini / Google AI services	Image feature reading, prompt branching, and generation-quality assistance.
Google Cloud / Firebase	Analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, notifications, and backend operations.
Cloudflare	Website delivery, image/result storage and delivery, and security.
RevenueCat	Subscription entitlement and purchase status management.
Google AdMob / AppLovin	Ad serving, mediation, and ad measurement.
Apple / Google	App distribution, in-app purchases, and store payment management.

These providers process data under their own privacy policies and terms. HairBoost does not sell face data and does not provide face data to third parties for building advertising profiles.

5. Face Data

Face data is used for AI image generation, face-area cropping, quality improvement, and error investigation.
Face data is not used for identity verification, personal identification, surveillance, authentication, or creditworthiness decisions.
Face data is not sold.
Photos are not sent to AI generation services unless you explicitly use a generation feature.
Visible attributes such as glasses, facial hair, hairstyle, and facial features may be reflected in prompts or generation settings to preserve your appearance.

6. Consent and Choices

AI generation features may send your photo or cropped face image to HairBoost servers and third-party AI services. By reviewing the in-app disclosure and tapping the generation action, you consent to this processing. If you do not consent, do not use the AI generation feature.

7. Retention and Deletion

Images and face data are retained only for as long as needed for generation, result delivery, quality review, error investigation, abuse prevention, and support. Temporary processing data is deleted or access-restricted as soon as reasonably possible, and quality or debugging data is deleted when it is no longer needed.

To request deletion, contact ksaito1104@gmail.com with the device, approximate date, and feature used so we can locate the data where possible.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards such as encryption in transit, access controls, permission management, and operational monitoring. No internet-based service or third-party provider can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Children

HairBoost is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

10. International Transfers

HairBoost and its service providers may process data outside your country or region. By using the service, you consent to such processing where permitted by law.

11. Changes

We may update this policy when the app, laws, or third-party services change. Material changes will be posted on this page or in the app.
